Jim is a licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and a licensed General Contractor. He is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking offered by the Mortgage Bankers Association of American and a graduate of California State University Sacramento from which he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He formerly worked at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company (KPMG), CPA firm.
Jim serves on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman of Exchange Bank, a community bank with assets of approximately $2.6 billion. Jim serves as a Trustee of the Doyle Trust which distributes scholarships to students attending the Santa Rosa Junior College and he also serves on the SRJC Scholarship Committee. He has been involved with the sale, development, construction and financing of properties over the past forty years including single family, subdivisions, commercial, construction, and joint venture transactions. Jim and his wife, Kellye, have four children.
